PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new forming method of a high-temperature superconducting Josephson junction wherein the formation of the Josephson junction having a highly excellent characteristic is realized simply and rapidly without requiring an expensive fine-processing apparatus. SOLUTION: By making intersect each other two high-temperature superconducting whisker crystals, and then, by subjecting them to a heat treatment, a Josephson junction is formed between the two high-temperature superconducting whisker crystals.
