PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance accuracy of measuring of spectrum during the wavelength movement at a high speed. SOLUTION: A voltage value is stored and measured prior to the measurement of a sample, and the value of the voltage applied to a photodetector is retained. The voltage value retained is read and applied to the photodetector, whereby the proper sensitivity of a detection system is maintained.
