PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that suppresses degradation of image quality by suppressing wear of an absorbing member due to contact with a body to be electrified. SOLUTION: The device has a corona discharger 20 that electrifies a photoreceptor drum 10, which is to be electrified, by means of discharge, and an absorbing roller 80 that is in contact with the surface of the photoreceptor drum 10 and absorbs discharge products produced by the discharge. The device is also provided with a contact/separation means (not shown) that is used for the absorption roller 80 so as to selectively bring the absorption roller 80 into contact with the photoreceptor drum 10 and separates the roller 80 therefrom. |
