PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable information terminal, an information retrieval device, an information retrieval method and a computer-readable information recording medium on which program having an information retrieval function is recorded, by which information related to geographical position information can easily be retrieved based on retrieval conditions even if the portable information terminal itself does not have information corresponding to a retrieval result. SOLUTION: The portable information terminal 11 is equipped with transmitting means 33 and 39 which transmit retrieval conditions provided with the geographical position information so as to information related to the geographical position information and receiving means 33 and 41 which receive the retrieved information meeting the retrieval conditions provided with the geometrical position information.
