PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stacked three-dimensional battery capable of accommodating increase in the capacity by increasing the volume (the number of cells) of the battery and providing various kinds of merits attendant on increase in scale by making the structure of the battery three-dimensional in simple constitution. SOLUTION: An electrolyte solution k is filled in one cell 3 of a pair of cells 3, 4 connected through an ion permeable filter 5, the powder n of an active material releasing electrons is mixed in the electrolyte solution to form a fixed layer, the electrolyte solution k is filled in the other cell 4, the powder h of an active material receiving the electrons is mixed in the electrolyte solution to form a fixed layer, to form a unit cell. Plural sets of unit cells are connected in series by interposing a conductive current collecting member 7 acting as a barrier and coming in contact with the powders n, h between the cells 3, 4, and current collectors 6, 8 coming in contact with the powders and also acting as a positive electrode or a negative electrode are installed in the cells 3, 4 at both ends. |
