摘要 In selection of microorganisms that degrade (almost) water-insoluble, volatile, lipophilic organic compounds (VOC) or continuous biodegradation of VOC in aerated bioreactor in chemostatic and pH-auxiostatic operation, filled with initial solution containing VOC, microorganism(s), nutrient salts (I) and nitrogen source (II), VOC, (I) and (II) are supplied separately and addition of (I) and (II) to the reactor and VOC to a continuous air stream is controlled by pH. Method for selection of microorganisms that degrade volatile, lipophilic organic compounds (VOC) that are insoluble or hardly soluble in water or for continuous biodegradation of VOC uses an aerated, stirred bioreactor with temperature control in chemostatic and pH-auxiostatic operation. The bioreactor is filled with initial solution containing VOC, microorganism mixture and/or microorganisms that degrade VOC, micro- and macro-nutrient salts (I) and assimilable nitrogen sources (II) and the pH is determined by a pH control unit with measuring probe. The novel features are that VOC, (I) and (II) are supplied separately and permanent pH measurement is used to determined a control value for addition of (I) and (II) into the bioreactor and of VOC in a continuous air stream passed into the bioreactor.
