发明名称 Processing of hemp straw uses crushers and cutters with separation stages, and vibrating cleaners, to give a fine hemp material with a low husk content
摘要 To process hemp straw, the hemp is harvested when 60-70% of the leaves are yellow, trimmed mechanically into lengths of 70 cm and laid in the open for 14-20 days. The hemp straw is gathered and baled mechanically into compressed round or square bales. The bales are laid in succession on a conveyor belt to be broken open where round bales are cut into sections and square bales are uncut, for the contents to be passed to rollers and cutters. To process hemp straw, the hemp from the bales is separated by rollers and cutters, to pass through a vertical dosing unit to be broken and aligned longitudinally in parallel and loosened. An external air stream separates the hemp fibers and the husks, which are passed to a vibrating cleaner and a metal detector at a comber, and a second vibrating cleaner and comber. The hemp is passed uncut as an intermediate matting to a bale press or an electronically controlled chopper to give the required fiber lengths, followed by cleaning in a wind sifter. Usable hemp fibers are taken from the combing through a feed shaft, a step cleaner and a cellular sluice to be returned to the main production flow. The fibers, with a low husk content, are fed into a separator and deflected to one or more reduction machines with toothed tools for fine working. After the vertical dosing unit, the hemp material passes directly to a hammer mill, fitted with bars across the cutting direction, to crush and loosen the hemp straw. The material passes into a tubular cleaning stage, and then a second hammer mill and tubular cleaning unit, to be passed directly to the vibrating cleaner.
