PURPOSE: A switching mode power supply is provided to avoid oscillation within a circuit, operate in a high switching frequency, and accomplish high efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A switching mode power supply comprises a transistor(Q1), a transformer(T1), and a PWM(pulse width modulation) control circuit(11). The transistor(Q1) switches on/off depending on a switching signal from the PWM control circuit(11). The first wound wire(Np) of the transformer(T1) is connected between an input DC power supply(V1) and the transistor(Q1) to supply an AC power to the first wound wire based on on/off of the transistor(Q1) so as to supply power to the second wound wire. The PWM control circuit(11) compares a feedback DC output power with a reference to generate the switching signal. The PWM control circuit(11) senses current variation due to output load change to use in generation of the switching signal.
