<p>A writing utensil which has a pen point composed of a fiber core or a plastic core coated with a coating agent containing a material imparting cap-off property thereto, wherein the writing utensil uses an ink containing a fluorine-containing surfactant and/or a silicone based surfactant and/or wherein the coating agent comprises a material having a polar functional group which is solid at an ordinary temperature and has a solubility into the ink solvent used of 5 % or less at an ordinary temperature. The writing utensil is excellent in cap-off characteristics.</p> |
