PURPOSE: A front grille assembly structure for air conditioner is provided to divide front grille into plural grills, and prevent a plurality of front grilles from being escaped in horizontal and vertical directions. CONSTITUTION: A front grille assembly structure comprises front grilles(81,82,83) arranged in front of a chassis(52), and which accommodate the chassis, a cross flow fan and a heat exchanger(60); a horizontal fixing unit(90) arranged at each opposed surface of front grilles so as to prevent the front grilles from being escaped in a horizontal direction; and a vertical fixing unit(100) arranged at each opposed surface of front grilles so as to prevent the front grilles from being escaped in a vertical direction. The horizontal fixing unit includes an upper stopper part(92) protruded from a side surface of one front grille, and a lower stopper part(94) protruded from a side surface of another front grille so as to be engaged with the upper stopper part. The vertical fixing unit includes a boss(102) protruded from a side surface of one front grille, and a boss hole(104) formed at a side surface of another front grille so as to allow the boss to be inserted into the boss hole.
