<p>The invention concerns a method for closing an open-mouth bag filled with a powdery or granular material and an installation for implementing said method. The invention concerns a method and an installation for closing open-mouth bags filled with powdery or granular material so as to obtain a substantially parallelepiped closed bag. The installation comprises: at least a driving device (2) having at least a slide (3) for squeezing the mouth of the bag so as to define a closure zone, means (15) for spacing apart the flanks of the closure zone; means (9) for laying flat the flanks of the closure zone; means (13) for folding on each other the flanks of the closure zone; and means (10) for setting on the folded flanks at least a sealing adhesive strip (11).</p> |
