MOBILE INTERNET PROTOCOL CALL SIMULATOR

PURPOSE: A mobile Internet protocol call simulator is provided to verify and develop functions of a data network by implementing simulating units capable of performing a packet control function of a base station controller and performing an operation of a mobile IP terminal before the base station controller and the mobile IP terminal are completely developed. CONSTITUTION: A mobile Internet protocol call simulator(10) is equipped with a mobile terminal simulating unit(20) and a packet control function simulating unit(30). The mobile terminal simulating unit(20) performs a function of a mobile terminal used for enabling a subscriber to receive packet data network services through a wireless interface. The packet control function simulating unit(30) maintains a packet service connection between a wireless network and the mobile terminal simulating unit(20). The mobile terminal simulating unit(20) is a protocol stack(21), a wingo(23), a ping(25) and a TFTP(Trivial File Transfer Protocol)(27). The protocol stack(21) supports a network function. The wingo(23) is programmed for being operated on the protocol stack(21). The ping(25) is operated on the protocol stack(21). The TFTP(27) transmits and receives files.
