PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct an elevated structure, avoiding the occupancy of a road extremely. SOLUTION: In the method in which columns 1 are disposed upright at intervals along a construction scheduled line and an elevated roadway is built by stretching beams 2 on the columns 1, an erecting device 10 with a girder 11, in which a front end is supported by a support 12 movable to a road surface and a rear end is supported by a truck 15 capable of traveling on an existing beam 2, and at least two front-rear hoists 16A and 16B capable of traveling along the girder 11 is arranged at the front end of the existing beam 2, the column 1 and the beam 2 built in front from the existing beam 2 are conveyed by utilizing a track formed by the existing beam 2, the elevated roadway is extended by one span by receiving the conveyed column 1 and beam 2 by the erecting device 10 and constructing them in front of the existing beam 2, and the continuous elevated roadway is built by repeating the process, moving the erecting device 10 forward at every one span.
