PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for manufacturing a flexible connector composed of laminated thin films are provided to fabricate a multi-level flexible terminal composed of hetero metal films. CONSTITUTION: One end of a copper plate(2a) and one end of an aluminum plate(2b) are movably fixed by gripping parts, respectively. Power of 8-11Hz transformed into 440V/12V is applied to the copper plate and the aluminum plate. The copper plate and the aluminum plate are pressed against each other, with their contact faces facing each other, to be thermally fused. When the two plates have been fused, the plates are separated from the gripping parts and the edge of the aluminum plate is post-processed.
