PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charger which can charge the battery without blocking by a strap attached to the lower side of an mobile communication device. SOLUTION: This is a charger for the built-in battery of a mobile communication device. A recess 31 is provided on the case of the charger to hold the mobile communication device and charge its built-in battery. A groove 32 is provided on the back wall 34 of the recess 31 to retain the strap 19 so that it does not lie between the charging terminals and the device terminals. Thus, the strap does no block in when charging.
