PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital filter containing a correction circuit of data by limit cycle assurance and an interpolation filter having an overflow collection function. SOLUTION: A digital filter comprises an IIR filter for filtering an input signal; a random generator for generating random noises for limit cycle assurance of an IIR filter; and an interpolation filter for receiving an output of the IIR filter. The interpolation filter comprises a second adder for receiving an output of the IIR filter; a plus overflow detection decoder for receiving the output of the IIR filter; and a third adder for adding up '1' to the carry input. The digital filter has a carry process for correcting an offset of data generated by the limit cycle assurance of the IIR filter and an overflow correction function.
