<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe connecting device capable of carrying out pipe connection as a one-man job securing safety without work in a dug trench, enables pipe suspending by normal sliding without concern for an outer covering pipe, which is adaptable to all descriptions of pipes, implements minimization of excavation width of connecting part, having a relatively simple structure and low cost, and easy alignment of existing pipe and a connecting pipe, and maintains roundness. SOLUTION: The device is inserted into the inside of a pipe, wherein a cylinder body 12a and rod 12b of a towing cylinder 12 used as a first expansion part are respectively coupled in a lateral array with rods 13b and 14b of clamping cylinders 13 and 14 used as a second and third expansion parts. Clamping devices 16 mounted on the inner wall which supports clamping plates 16b with link arms 16a, are run between the towing cylinder 12 and clamping cylinders 13 and 14. Traveling wheels 19 are extruded from the towing cylinder 12, and clamping cylinders 13 and 14 via an arm 18.</p> |
