The ski has an upper layer of ABS, phenolic resin or celluloid bonded to a fibreglass laminates, the latter based on an epoxy resin or unsatd polyester resin modified with diallylphthalate with acts as the bonding agent and with a polyethylene gliding surface bonded to a similarly based fibreglass laminate and with polyurethane foam core of uniform pore size bonded to both layers.
