The present invention relates to a multi-piece solid golf ball comprising a core composed of a center and an intermediate layer formed on the center, and at least one layer of a cover formed on the core, wherein the center has a diameter of 20 to 35 mm and a center point hardness in Shore A hardness of 10 to 70, the intermediate layer has a thickness of 2.5 to 10.0 mm and a surface hardness in Shore D hardness of 40 to 65.
