PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which is assembled without using an adhesive such as a double-sided adhesive tape and prevents the occurrence of an adverse effect caused by static electricity or the like from the external. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device 1 of a first embodiment form is provided with a liquid crystal cell 2 and a tablet 7 arranged on the front surface of the cell 2. The device 1 has a first case 5 which holds the cell 2 and controls the movement of the cell 2 and a second case 8 which holds the tablet 7 and controls the movement of the tablet 7. A tablet unit 9 in which the tablet 7 is assembled into the case 8 is laminated on a liquid crystal cell unit 6 in which the cell 2 is assembled into the case 5. A metallic frame 11 is arranged to store the laminated units 6 and 9 and controls respective movements. Thus, the units 6 and 9 are assembled together without using a double-sided adhesive tape or the like to adhere the units and the device 1 is provided with a superior assemblability.
