PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin-bleaching cosmetic having an enhanced skin- bleaching effect, by improving poor aging stability of ascorbic acid and its derivatives, kojic acid, leucinol, arbutin, hydroquinone, or the like, which have been used in conventional skin-bleaching cosmetics. SOLUTION: This skin-bleaching cosmetic contains an extract of Panax notoginseng together with one, two or more kinds of L-ascorbic acid and its derivatives as active ingredients. The cosmetic thus prepared extremely improves flecks, dark skin, and freckles, which skin bleaching effect is synergistically increased, and is furnished with excellent aging stability.
