PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container which is easily carried, is excellent in sealing, heat insulating and water resistant properties, has large impact absorbing force, and can be used as an emergency storage container. SOLUTION: A container with a handle made of foamed synthetic resin wherein a box 2 and a cover 3 are fitted in and engaged with each other by a projecting strip 23 and a recessed strip 32 provided in each joining face and are sealed can be carried by making the joining face perpendicular and by grasping a handle 4 provided on a side face 22b with one hand, and can be used as the emergency storage container by storing daily necessities or emergency supplies.
