PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a solenoid valve capable of inexpensively producing a face seal construction by realizing a composition to prevent the occurrence of swelling of valve towards a direction of external diameter and to seal a working oil certainly. SOLUTION: The groove being in a concentric circle to the hole part is provided on the circumference of the hole part of the valve housing in which the valve seat is pressed fit, and the deformation of the valve housing when the valve seat is pressed fit is absorbed by deformation of the above groove, and it is constituted so that the external diameter part of the valve housing does not swell radially.
