NON-POWER AUTOMATIC WIRE DRUM GROOVE GUIDE OF TONG CRANE WIRE ROPE

PURPOSE: A non-power automatic wire drum groove guide of a tong crane wire rope is provided to prevent the breakage of facilities and an accident due to the falling of a weight material by avoiding the departure of a wire roper from a wire drum groove. CONSTITUTION: In a tong crane, a screw gear(66) installed on the outer face of a screw shaft(67) having a screw(65) is connected via a chain(16). A frame(55) having a frame cover(82) embeds a screw nut(60) penetrated with the screw shaft on one side. The other side of the frame is combined with a pair of tie rods(42) connecting a sheave box(30). A drive roll is installed at a lower portion of the frame. Inside the sheave box, a guide sheave(28) fixed via a sheave fixing bolt(33) is installed. A wire rope is guided to a groove on a wire drum by the guide sheave. Therefore, the wire rope is accurately wound on the groove.
