PURPOSE: A device for preventing the overturn of a conveyor belt is provided to avoid the overturn of a conveyor belt by making a lift roller stick to the lower portion of the belt and restraining the lifting force of the belt via an anti-lift roller, to prevent environmental pollution by preventing the falling of a material, and to protect the belt from side disconnection due to the overturn. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing the overturn of a conveyor belt comprises a lift roller unit(100) lifted along a belt(3), a weight unit(200) to lift up the lift roller, and an anti-lift roller unit(300) to prevent the lifting of the belt. When the belt is empty, the lift roller sticks to the belt by the weight unit. Then, a lift bar(80) is lifted up, while the anti-lift roller is lifted down. Therefore, the lifting of the belt is prevented. If a material approaches the belt, the belt is lifted down by the weight of the materials. The lift roller is also lowered, while the anti-lift roller is lifted up. Therefore, smooth conveyance is performed.
