PURPOSE: Provided is a lithium ion secondary battery capable of preventing a leakage of electrolyte and increasing a storage density for energy. CONSTITUTION: The lithium ion secondary battery comprises can(100) having an inner part(in which electrolyte is inserted), an opened top part, and protruded flange(130) on the top part; foamed gasket(300) which is positioned on the flange; and cap(200) for sealing the can. The battery can prevent a leakage of electrolyte, easily adhere the can and the cap, and increase a storage density for energy. |
