<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generator for a multi-stage air bag capable of suppressing the enlargement of the whole gas generator and adjusting volume ratio of each combustion chamber. SOLUTION: Ignition means 51, 61 are arranged in the combustion chambers 50, 60 provided in a housing 3, the combustion chamber 60 is provided in an inner shell 4 arranged eccentrically for a central axis of the housing 3, and each ignition means is arranged eccentrically for the central axis.
