PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partition wall making it easy to confirm a connection between the outer peripheries of reinforcing members for forming a reinforcing ring. SOLUTION: The partition wall 30 is formed in a cylindrical shape inside a vertical shaft V. The partition wall 30 is formed when groups of annular liner plates 25 each comprising a plurality of liner plates 1 circumferentially connected together are vertically connected together in a plurality of steps and an annular reinforcing ring 26 comprising a plurality of reinforcing members 15 circumferentially connected together is interposed between the upper and lower groups of liner plates 25 in predetermined positions and connected to the upper and lower groups of liner plates 25 at a position inside of the connection 28 between the outer peripheries of the reinforcing members which constitute the reinforcing ring 26. An observation hole 8 allowing viewing of the connection 28 through inner and outer peripheries is bored in the group of liner plates 25 located near the connection 28 between the outer peripheries of the reinforcing members 15.
