PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device capable of stably reading data by securing sufficient servo performance even in a bad disk. SOLUTION: A PWM system is used for the driver 108 of an actuator 104, a boosting DC/DC converter 112 capable of boosting the power supply voltage of the driver 108 is used, the partial wobbling/partial eccentricity/uneven center of gravity of a loaded disk is detected and, according to its level, the power supply voltage of the driver 108 is switched.
