PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display device having a display panel supported by a frame chassis, especially a video display device such as a plasma display panel device. SOLUTION: The video display device 10 has a structure constituted of a plate-shaped display panel 1, a heat conduction member 2 and the frame chassis 3 which are successively superposed. The frame chassis consists of plural metal- made formed members 3a and 3b which are combined and in an another case the frame chassis consists of a sheet metal member 30a and a framework member 30b which are combined.
