PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized light-weight optical element lens barrel. SOLUTION: The lens barrel is provided with a 1st holding member, which is prepared for holding a 1st optical element among plural optical elements constituting an optical system and which is rotated around an optical axis, and a 2nd holding member for holding a 2nd optical element, and the 2nd holding member is engaged with the 1st holding member through a cam, and the 2nd holding member is moved in the optical axis direction with reference to the 1st holding member in accordance with the rotation of the 1st holding member around the optical axis.
