PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing a temperature nonconforming item of a moving article in which a temperature nonconforming item of an article for filling an object which is applied temperature treatment is specified to be removed from a conveying line. SOLUTION: The method comprises continually, individually, and non- contactly detecting temperature of all of numbers of articles continually moving at a certain speed on a conveying path by means of a radiation thermometer installed near the article, continually and individually sensing passage of all moving articles by a sensor placed near the radiation thermometer, synchronizing the detected temperature of the article with the sensed passage of the article to specify the temperature of the individual article, comparing the temperature of the specified article with a preliminary set reference temperature, and removing the article whose temperature is below or above the reference temperature from the conveying path as a temperature nonconforming item.
