Bioreactor (A) for growing microorganisms has a transparent housing, through which gas bubbles (formed by introduction of gas) pass, in a flow direction, and in which a flow conducting device is fitted. This device comprises at least two septa set transverse to the flow direction. An Independent claim is also included for a method for preparing (A).
