The inventive axial-piston pump comprises a unit (27) for the operation thereof in engine regime which is hydraulically connected to the third line (17) 3/3 of a distributor (14), a piston cavity (11) of a first hydraulic cylinder (8) and a drain pipe (3). The inventive hydraulic transmission for a means of transport comprises an axial-piston pump (1) embodied in the form of the first variable-delivery hydraulic machine whose drain pipe (3) is connected to a drain (44), a delivery pipe thereof (2) being connected to a delivery pipe (42) of a fixed-delivery pump (41). Said delivery pipe (2) is also connected to an input pipe (49) of the second hydraulic machine (48) with the aid of a valve (53). An output pipe (50) of the axial-piston pump (1) is connected to the delivery pipe (42) of the fixed-delivery pump (41). The drain pipe (3) of the axial-piston pump (1) or a drain pipe (43) of the fixed-delivery pump (41) is connected to the input pipe (49) of the second hydraulic machine (48) with the aid of a flow check valve (55) and is also connected to the output pipe (50) of the second hydraulic machine (48) with the aid of a pilot-operated check valve (56). A control line (57) of the pilot-operated check valve (56) is connected to the delivery pipe (42) of the fixed-delivery pump (41) by means of a two-positional three-way distributor (58) which is linked to the drain (44).
