<p>The invention concerns a method and a device for re-using information previously received by an addressed element with which is associated an intermediate storage means (10), in a telecommunication network such as Internet. Said intermediate storage means (10) for example a proxy cache, is adapted to store temporarily information constituting objects transmitted to said addressed element following successive requests of said addressed element. Said method comprises a step which consists in copying all the objects contained in said intermediate storage means (10) which fulfil predetermined criteria, and a step which consists in storing with appropriate indexing the obtained copies of said objects in an object management means (30), for example a Web server, associated with said addressed element. In particular, only the objects which are greater than a predetermined size are copied.</p> |
