The annular combustion chamber has an outer wall (23) with outer surface (25) enclosed by a clamping ring (27) consisting of at least two segments (27a,27b) joined by a tensioning piece (31). The outer surface has a cylindrical contact surface against which the clamping ring rests and formed by a peripheral ridge. The tensioning piece has a draw-bar (37) fitting into an eye (35) between which a spring (39) sets the pre-tensioning force.
