PURPOSE: A payment guarantee intermediation method is provided to intermediate a payment guarantee in a plurality of shopping malls by connecting to a payment gateway while restraining a leakage of personal data. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a shopping mall server transmitting imperfect guarantee insurance request data with transaction data and a shopping mall ID to an electronic guarantee gateway server(1), the electronic guarantee insurance gateway server extracting a credit card number or a bank account number from a database based on the transmitted imperfect guarantee request data, generating perfect payment request data, and transmitting the payment request data to a payment server(2), the payment server requesting a payment to a card company server(3), the payment server receiving a payment approval from the credit card server(4), the payment server notifying the electronic guarantee insurance gateway server of the normal payment(5), the electronic guarantee insurance gateway server completing the guarantee insurance request data by compensating for necessary data, e.g. a resident registration number searched from a database with the transmitted user ID, and transmitting the completed guarantee insurance request data to an electronic guarantee server(6), the electronic guarantee server issuing an insurance document corresponding to a purchase amount and transmitting an insurance document number to the gateway server(7), and the gateway server completing an insurance document with the transmitted insurance document number by extracting necessary data from a member management database, and transmitting the insurance document to a purchaser terminal(8).
