The derrick for use on board ship or on fishing vessels for coupling of trawl nets during fishing is pivotably fitted on a support structure (1), such as a mast or similar. Two lugs (2,3) are fixed one above the other, extending horizontally, on the mast or similar. Between the lugs is a connecting piece (4) formed by two plate-shaped parallel parts (5,6) between which is an elongated strip-form part (7). In the extending outer ends of the plate shaped parts, and in the outer ends of the lugs are holes, in which a vertical shaft (8) is accommodated.
