<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air dryer capable of ensuring the discharging property of the dew condensed in a housing even if the dryer is arranged horizontally in a vehicle, etc. SOLUTION: In the air dryer having roughly cylindrical housings 1 and 3 having a compressor side port 11 connected to an outer compressor and a system side port 13 connected to an outer air control system side at both end parts and a drying agent 9 filled in the housings 1 and 3, when the housings 1 and 3 are arranged sideways, storage space 55 located downward than the region in which the drying agent 9 is filled is provided in the vicinity of an inner open port of the compressor side port 11 in the housing 1, and an exhaust valve 51 capable of releasing the moisture stored in the storage space and the air in the housing to outside is arranged under the storage space 55.</p> |
