PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foam sheet of an aromatic monovinyl resin composition which is excellent in heat stability, gives a molded article having a good color tone, emits low odor, and is excellent in moldability, and the molded article thereof. SOLUTION: This foam sheet is prepared from an aromatic monovinyl resin composition comprising (a) a resin formed from an aromatic monovinyl monomer and having a wt. average mol.wt. of 150,000-700,000 and (b) a 3- arylbenzofuranone in an amount of 0.006-0.5 wt.% of resin (a), the content of the residual aromatic monovinyl monomer in the composition being 100 ppm or lower. The molded item prepared from the foam sheet is also provided. |
