PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress with a falling-down preventing function by equipping a auxiliary support member for falling-down prevention onto sheet cloth to cover an existing mattress. SOLUTION: Side supporters 4 are equipped projected from around places corresponding to the back side and the leg side of a sheet substrate 3 detachably mounted on the main body 2 of this mattress. The sheet substrate 3 is constituted to wrap up a whole of the mattress main body 2 and has a waterproof function or undergoes waterproof treatment or water repellent treatment. The side board 4 is a triangle column shape and is constituted by sewing a core material with cloth similar to the sheet substrate 3, and is detachably mounted on the sheet substrate 3 by a fastener 5 except the center part in the longitudinal direction of the mattress 1.
