PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a practical sensitivity and excellent in solvent resistance even when immersed in a hydrocarbon solvent used for a developing solution in a wet image forming device, e.g. in an aliphatic hydrocarbon called Isoper or a paraffinic solvent. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor has a photosensitive layer comprising a resin binder containing an electric charge generating agent and an electric charge transferring agent on an electrically conductive substrate, the resin binder contains a polycarbonate resin comprising repeating structural units of formula [1] (where R10 and R11 are the same or different and each H or a 1-3C alkyl) or formula [2] and the photoreceptor is used in an image forming device adopting a wet developing system with a developing solution containing toner particles dispersed in a hydrocarbon solvent.
