PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera, in which demonstration functions are utilized effectively without the need for a recording medium. SOLUTION: The electronic camera is provided with an electronic imaging means 12, that photographs an object by converting the image of the object into an electrical signal, a temporary storage means 25 that temporarily stores the photographed image, a means 21 that loads a removable recording medium 20 to store and record the photographed image, a recording means 40 that records the photographed image to the temporarily storage means or the recording medium, a specific mode setting means 60 that selects a 1st specific mode or a 2nd specific mode different from a normal operating mode, a recording control means 40 that controls the recording means, in such a way that the recording means records the photographed image to the removable recording medium in the setting of the normal operating mode or records the photographed image only to the temporary storage means in the setting of the 1st specific mode or the 2nd specific mode, a camera sequence storage means 52, that stores in advance a camera operation sequence and a sequence operating means 45, that automatically causes the camera to operate, in accordance with the sequence in the setting of the 2nd specific mode. |
