PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cleaning member which has low hardness and a good adhesion property, makes it possible obtain high-grade images free of density unevenness and surface fogging, without the occurrence of such trouble as to contaminate a photoreceptor, etc., and does not give rise to the deterioration in improve quality even in long-term use. SOLUTION: The cleaning member for removing the developers remaining on a latent image holding member of the electrophotographic device is formed of an elastic base material and its surface is formed of a resin layer containing a urethane denatured acrylic resin in which a urethane resin component and an acrylic resin component are chemically bonded. The content ratio of the acrylic resin component in the urethane denatured acrylic resin constituting the resin layer is 5 to 80 wt.%.
