PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a brightness stabilizing system that a complex and expensive cathode current detecting circuit and a circuit for rushing up a vertical beam current are not needed and lowering of brightness due to a change with time can be compensated by a simple means to obtain the excellent image quality. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a video amplifier circuit 1 for amplifying each video signal of R, G, B and sending it to each cathode of a CRT, and a beam current detecting circuit 4, and arranged on the return sides of an OSD circuit 2, a personal computer 3, and a fly-back transformer 6, and thereby a user makes the system eliminate the inputted video display by making the OSD circuit function and also sequentially display the mono-chrome displays in R, G, B, and controls the system via the microcomputer 3 so that each beam current detected by the current detecting circuit 4 becomes to have a prescribed preset value.
