PURPOSE: A device for mounting a magnetic head of card reader is provided to easily read the information recoded in a largely bended magnetic card and to prevent the magnetic head from occurring an error caused by the inclination above the needs. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises a bracket(3) inserting and fixing a magnetic head(2) by forming a protruding pin(4) and a long hole(5) at both sides, a holder(11) having a plurality of cutting grooves(12) and hinge holes(13) and fixing to a case(1) by a screw(10) in order to prevent from removing by making the magnetic head accept the inserted bracket, a hinge pin(7,7') inserting one terminal part into the hinge holes from to the holder and inserting the counting part into the long hole of bracket, and a coil spring(6,6') elastically supporting the bracket and holder by inserting into the hinge pin. Until a magnetic card inserted into the case of card reader reaches to the magnetic head, the bracket and magnetic head maintains a fixed state without moving because the bracket fixing the magnetic head is pressed by the coil spring in the hinge pin.
