<p>The invention concerns a method for automatically locating a vehicle right and left wheels comprising a step which consists in automatically measuring the centripetal acceleration of a wheel. Said method is characterised in that it consists in comparing the theoretical centripetal acceleration (Ai) of a wheel in a straight line with the measured centripetal acceleration (Aiv) of the same wheel in a bend, for a given vehicle speed (V) and for a given steering wheel angle (T), so as to determine whether the wheel is on the right or on the left of the vehicle.</p> |
