PURPOSE: A network game operation system and method is provided to enable a game player to freely control units, appearing in a game, with voices, not using a keypad or a mouse in the conventional game operation method. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a user accessing a game server via sequentially a base station, a wireless service system and a network(S100), a voice recognition and character conversion module of the game server recognizing voice commands and converting them into text commands(S102, S104), a command analysis module of the game server analyzing the text commands and checking if the commands conform with a preset grammar(S106, S108), the command analysis module sending a message of inputting commands again if the commands do not conform with the grammar(S110), a command processor searching for the commands in a command database if they conform with the grammar(S112), the command processor checking if the searched commands need game event data(S114), if the searched commands do, the command processor searching for the game event data corresponding to the commands in a game event database, searching for sound/graphic data in a sound/graphic database, loading the data at the server, and transmitting the data to a wireless user terminal(S116, S120), and if the searched commands need not the game event data, the command processor directly searching for the corresponding sound/graphic in the sound/graphic database(S118).
