PURPOSE: A handle torque change restraining device for a power steering system is provided to compensate the handle torque increasing as an RPM of the steering handle increases, thereby improving the steering feeling. CONSTITUTION: A handle torque change restraining device for a power steering system includes a linear motor(10) mounted in a rack housing for generating counter-steering force to a steering handle, a control part(20) for controlling the driving of the linear motor, and a switching part(30) for determining a direction and an amount of a current to be applied to the linear motor.
