PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harvester ensuring the outer leaves of a head formation vegetable not to be damaged through excising the outer leaves in a stable condition. SOLUTION: This head formation vegetable harvester has such a construction as to have a cutting device 1 for cutting off the root/stem of a head formation vegetable planted in a farming field, a conveyor 2 collocated in the rear of the cutting device 1 and functioning to backwardly convey a head formation vegetable after cutting off the root/stem thereof, and a table 3 to put a head formation vegetable after conveyed thereon and subject to rotation by a drive 4 in close proximity to the conveyance terminal end of the conveyor 2; wherein the table 3 is characterized by being designed to put a head formation vegetable thereon so as to turn its root upward and equipped with a device 6 for excising the outer leaves of a head formation vegetable put on the table 3.
